Have you applied there yet? what are you deciding? Just a heads up, they are not hiring tanker drivers out of Florida so you can rule that division out.

Just called FFE and millis to make sure whether or nt they are hiring from here..well the answer was no...i then think my choices are getting very narrow...so I definetely gonna go with prime ..but first of all I need to take care of some financial ****t....

What are the things u sent them as far as papers ..do u think they called uor previous jobs ahead of time

When I applied they called me later on that same day. I don't know if they will call your previous jobs but they want to know everything such as times you may have been unemployed.
Basically, when you start talking to a recruiter they will go over what the job is and how the whole process goes. They get all information from you they need as well as pulling up your driving history right there over the phone. Next they will perform a background check in which they will call you a couple of days later to let you know if you have been approved or not. If approved, they email you a release form that you sign and fax back to them. That is giving them permission to look at your employment history ect ect.. This is where I am at right now. If all goes well, I will then be mailed a bus ticket to Missouri to let the fun begin.DaytonaDoug and warrior81 Thank this. -
Do they hire this far south (Daytona) ? Do they have freight going this way ? I graduated Roadmaster back in November and the company I was going to changed orientation dates and I got sick of waiting and now am looking for someplace to go.

I live in Orlando which is further south so, yes. They don't have terminals in Florida but I do see them down here. Drove to Tampa a while back and saw a 2 or 3. Also driving to Jacksonville saw many.

For a rookie coming in Prime wouldnt be a bad choice. Get your cdl and go to work much quicker. Brand new equipment and total compliance. Keep johnny law off your back. I was Prime for a short spell and they are a decent company. But also maybe consider some different career paths since you are browsing. Trucking seems all shiny and neat coming in and you can make a quick buck but its luster is a smoke screen for many. Proceed with caution and make the best choice with all the information you can find on many careers.
