Where is everyone?

Woke up in Iowa this morning and it was 3 degrees...that sucked.

I woke up Sunday morning with no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.

 

Had to deliver a load of galvanized steel and take the tarps off on 10 degrees in Iowa today. Galvanized steel doesnt need to be tarped!

 

Still at home.
Was offered a 12'6" wide load out of Decatur going to Mesa,Az. Would have been running up to I80, then own US81, etc etc to US54 into NM. In theory...
Couldn't go across 54 in Tx (IIRC) so it was more miles.
No running in AZ Sat or Sun, NM Sun, etc, so it was a PIA load in general.
Then trying to load out of Mesa would be no fun, so I skipped it for now. Will see what comes up later in the week I guess.

Well, still at the hotel. Doesn't look like they will get it completely finished up tonight. It broke the input shaft into a few pieces, so it took them some time to remove that and the bearing. They also had to send the flywheel to a local shop to have it turned since they didn't have any to swap it out with this time (usually they do, but they have done 5 clutch's on CAT engines since last week)...... so it looks like hopefully I will be out of here before noon tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed
