Looking for any info on southern Illinois companies that might take a newbie. I live in carbondale, IL. Theres not much in my area unless youre otr. How might I find a company that hauls grain? Or something local and similar? My next option is to find a job in paducah, ky or cape girardeau, mo but it's a 55 mile commute one way....
Thank you

No grain to haul this year. Maybe beelmans trucking but am not sure how well there doing see alot of there trucks just sitting around.

If you cant find anything local you could try Roehl. They have a pretty good midwest regional, they have a pretty good lane thru I-57. When I worked there delivered a couple loads to Centralia.

Beelmans would be good, the dry bulk tankers that haul lime stay busy. Also, check Careerbuilder and see what's available in each area you mentioned.

There is Shawnee Express in Herrin, IL

Oh ya I'm 21 with no exp. Beelman requires 23 with 2 years exp I believe, unfortunately cause I see them on the rt 13 all day. I'll take a look at roehl, I did not consider that thanks.
Ive seen Shawnee express trailers sitting in a few parking lots can you give me any info on them?
Do any locals know how it is driving for pepsi out of Marion? They're privately owned and notoriously the worst company in southern Illinois but it would be local job and experience........
Thanks
