I cant say. Dont know. But I have seen a significant number of trucks parked when I was at 2 different DC's here in Ohio so I would guess no?

I worked out of the Wintersville, OH DC from 2008-2010. I got an assigned truck the second week I was there. I asked about it and somebody told my DBL and he offered a choice of 3 to me. The only guys that didn't have assigned trucks were brand new drivers to the account(they got a truck assigned pretty quickly tho) drivers that lived close and went home every day(think there was a name for them) and flex drivers(part time drivers, tho some worked like full time. Pay was different as I recall) I counted all the trucks there on Xmas one year and I want to say it was close to 100, possibly more. I know some were system drivers parked for the holiday, but not many.

What sucks and this is with any dedicated account is the .02¢ pay cut they do. That is bs

Yes slipseat for first 4 years or you agree to 12/2 rotation. Assigned trucks are used by Flex drivers and also slipseated while you are on vacation. Trucks are kept clean by most, they have vacuums and cleaning supplies onsite, but still sucks bad if you are a nonsmoker. They just bought all new trucks over the last year. The old trucks were purchased in 2005 and were in bad shape.
Drivers are charged a $50.00 cleaning fee if truck is not clean when dropped, paid to driver that has to clean it.

Anybody know if Schneider has any Walmart or any other dedicated accounts in or near Savannah, GA? I've been seriously considering them as my first starter company and I just want to keep my options open for better opportunities once I pay my OTR dues. The reason why I asked was because I used to work as a temp at American Port Services distribution centers that had Walmart account in Savannah in 2005, at that time, Schneider had just bought them out.

The closest WM ded SNI has to Savanna would be Gordensville,Va. They lost Hendersonville,Nc to US Express a year ago.
