Has anyone heard from scooterdawg? Just started to read this thread tonight and by the time I got to the end he had disappeared.

I got a message on 12/11/12 from Will Smith introducing himself. I get great dispatches from the yard but from that date and lasting 2 weeks it fell apart. I hope it has turned around picked up a load in Richmond Sunday and setting in Oregon today.
runningman0661 and Strykor Thank this. -
Did u get anything out of Oregon today? I deliver in Marshall , Mo tomorrow, if I was a betting man I would guess there going to send me to Murray, Ky. To get a Pella load for the weekend.

Just made it home for the week. Finished with 2579mls had to sit around day 1/2 waiting for a customer to open then to unload a trailer. Got dispatched to Frankfort, ky thinking it was an empty only to find the trailer sitting in there yard for a week loaded with hangers. Arrived 3pm Tuesday didn't leave empty till Wednesday at 645pm. Other then that okay week, hopefully next will b better.

Hope you getting some pay out of that.

Highly doubt it. But compensation for that lost time would have been great

My philosophy has always been....the worse the can do is say no. For example, this load I'm on now had 3 stops. I get to my first stop on the 2nd and I'm told there receiving dept won't be back until the 3rd. I inform dispatch of the situation, and ask about a lost days pay or layover pay. A few hours later they call me back and say my second stop needs there freight and ask me to run from Zanesville down to Cincinnati deliver that stop and come back to Zanesville for the following morning. I say no problem, as long as you pay me for the miles. They said they will pay me an extra 316 miles plus a layover for the screw up. Shoot I didn't mind the round trip...I would rather do that then sit in a truck stop all day.

So on my way to the mall I did a pop up visit to the yard to put my truck in shop to fix my inverters. First thing I noticed as I pulled up was my truck wasn't in the spot where I parked it. Walked the bobtail line couldn't find my truck, ended up in the office looking for our truck manger thinking my truck got loaned out while I was off. Walked in in the shop to find him, and first truck I saw front n center was mine but getting those annoying dash cameras installed. Hopefully shop will replace my Qualcomm as well with the new mcp50, getting quite tired of my Qualcomm sitting on the floor or under the dash out of sight.

what are the dash cameras for? curious,,,,,,,
