It sounds like a great plan for some of you. But drivers who have been here a while who have a good thing going want the option of whether or not they are forced to take it.

This guarantee pay is starting to sound like crap. If you dont get breakdown, detention, layover or drop pay you stand to lose a ton of money in a years time. Why would drivers settle for 2300 miles a week? Sounds like a win for load planning because they only have to get you 2300 miles a week and they are done with you then you sit with no extra pay for your time. Can someone show me where I am wrong?

I have decided that Efon is a cheerleader for a pay plan he has not really thought out very well do I suggest everyone disregard his analysis. Giving up the Misc pay is cutting your own throat and FRE doesnt have to get you more than 2300 miles then you sit with no more pay.
I like driving for FRE but unlike some on here I am not a cheerleader for them or all their ideas. I am a driver trying to make a living like nost of you and the only plan I care about is more miles and more money.
This guarantee plan is only ok if they dont change anything else. Leave misc pay alone. We deserve that money for our time.

i've picked up in sulpher springs.get there asap and they will load u early.i got there way early because of my schedual and they put me in a door with in 15 minutes.and they have on site parking.not much but it works.efon made a great point on the guarantee.if u have a bad week u dont have to depend on them paying layover or breakdown.i had a problem with jon l on that issue.he never wanted to pay it only to his prefered drivers and i wasnt on that list and didnt want the hassel of fighting for it every time.so this eliminates that.

Your right but like all things there's always the good and the bad . Just depends on how it's workings for you at the time .
