I think we were all talking net after expenses. Everyone's taxes are different, so it's the best way to compare. I assume that is what the OP was using as well? At least we are all clear.

Ghost Ryder and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

Yeah, definitely don't want to be misleading. If I remember correctly, I think I'm just shy of 40k net, but I haven't looked at a pay stub since Christmas. Will post when I decide to go home.

Superior Carriers, .43/.36 and 13.77 (I think it was 77) an hour when I started. We've had two raises since then, now .46/.38 and 14.60 an hour.

Not sure what I brought home net last year, but I got all but $126 of what I paid into federal back after my deductions and about the same with state.

Avg arround 2,00 miles a week.

Then you've been driving for more than a year, or you aren't being completely honest. From their website under driver qualifications:

"At least eighteen months over-the-road driving experience in all four seasons in a commercial semi-tractor. Experience should be recent (within last six months)."

I can't wait for my tax return, it'll be like hitting the lottery.

They will hire some entry level drivers. The terminals that do have a certain school they will hire out of. There are a few of us here who started with superior out of school.

But yes, march of this year will be my 2 year anniversary driving/with the company.
