you've been driving a year. You just haven't seen real ice yet. I've only been driving two years and I haven't seen it either yet but I know it's going to happen one day.

Carpe' diam , quam minimum credula postero.......Seize this day , and place as little trust in tomorrow as possible ( eat drink and be merry...) ....... as for our " leaders " : quis custodiet ipsos custodes ? Circa 60 AD , Juvenal , A Roman wise guy , satirist , wanted to know "who is watching the watchers"? Good , but rhetorical question ! King Solomon is said to have proclaimed : "There is nothing new under the sun " ; and to increase your level of knowledge is to only deepen your sense of sorrow. The writings of our Founders are nothing short of incredible , in the sense of how far we have strayed from their intent and hopes for this " Great Experiment in Democracy ". Washington , in his farewell address wrote : " Religion and morality are indispensable supports to good Government. They teach men their moral obligations , leading Jefferson to bluntly state that this will create "an American people inherently independent of all but the moral law" . Are we there yet ?
