I'm in LA loading at the produce market. There is a pickup truck running around with a camera mounted in the back. They are chasing around a couple of dudes on Harleys filming something. A lone guy is walking around taking snapshots of the area as well. I get loaded and pull up to close the doors and as I'm walking back up to the truck I see him taking pics of my truck.

My truck is filthy from the winter weather I was in. I walk up to him and joke with him about taking pics of my dirty truck. We share a few laughs and I roll out.

Today he emailed me the pics. We exchanged no information at all, it's a bit weird knowing you can be Googled and found!! EEK!! :biggrin_2556:

Anyway, here are the pics he took. I know it's filthy!!! :biggrin_25522:

Nice truck the dirt gives it character :) so what movie are you gonna be the extra "truck driver" in? Wouldn't it be funny if you rented a movie several months from now and saw your truck..

There is a website called "Hanks truck pictures". These people are HARDCORE truck nuts!!! It's a pleasant site, no bickering or anything. Just people who love to take pics, look at and discuss trucks and trucking companies. I wouldn't doubt for a second they have a hand in it!

I remember one night when my '96 was still very new and pulled into a Love's somewhere in Texas and a lady was taking a pics as I rolled in and the sky was fixin' to storm but it had really cool looking clouds. I never saw pics but they must have looked cool with the sky and and all the lights.

There is a facebook guy named Magyar Fuvaros who posts pix of rigs. Hes got oops truck photos (you know...that guy who was delivering a bridge and ran out of fuel), and show trucks, and lots of european trucks. Maybe it was him.

If it was a few people in the production and no security around, it will cost you more to send them an invoice for the part in the movie than you will get in royalties, besides, if you didn't sign anything, you're screwed.

Low budget shoot... somebody on the film crew must have family in trucking and they just knew it would be a piece of cake getting a driver to play the part for free... ***enter Ukumfe*** :)
