Your not telling me anything new. I have had that happen more than once. One time it was the World Series and I just changed the channel anyways. They were watching an old CSI: Miami. It gets crazy sometimes. If I don't find a load tomorrow I will be back here and locating a hotel ASAP !!!
Where is everyone?

Lincoln,IL at the Pilot.
Load in Creve Coeur tomorrow, but no permits so why rush?

Laredo, TX at the Pilot. This place is nasty, filthy and has horrible food. Thank goodness I'll be out of here in the morning.

So I've never been to Savannah GA area before, any kind of good truck stops down there? I may have to layover until Wed...
-
There's a decent TA at Richmond Hill, nothing special but it has a Popeyes and some other fast food joints. I'm pretty sure there is a Pilot on 16 as well.
-
neato, I'm hoping I can get turned down there to Pooler GA by tuesday and get my stuff kicked off that day.
-
Yeah, Savanah is a bit of a hole, as is most of GA. There is a descent T/A in Richmond Hill and one 11 miles south of Savanah on I-95 in Brunswick, GA along with a Love's and a Flying J at the same exit (#29).... the Pilot in Savanah on I-16 has NO PARKING, it's just a fuel stop.
-
Maybe I'm reading your post wrong SHC, but Brunswick is quite a bit farther than 11 miles from Savannah. Richmond Hill is like exit 106 or so, where as Brunswick is in the 30's.

Move across the street to the TA.
