I agree Professional-Trucker. If your happy then that's all you need to know. I myself am on Macy's. I do all the local stores for our contract. All our dedicated drivers either live in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, or the valley. They all have their own trucks, no slip seat here. I have a day cab for my runs. I have been on this account on/off for 3 years. Also my hourly rate is more than 13$. Most OTR drivers make 12$ hr. for local runs.

I've met Mr Kevin Knight, as well as his nephew Ren Knight(when he was dispatching at the Phoenix office) Mr Knight is soft spoken, and will listen to you on what you have to say. He doesn't hide from his drivers. His office is in Phoenix. Ren (his nephew) is down to earth, younger, cool, spikey red hair guy, very modern like. Not there anymore(operations). Am i in the "click"? You bet i am. I know lots of people in the Phoenix AZ office. Lots of people in mgr positions.

Wow.
If they had my picture in a Hall of Fame it would not be for being a local driver for 3 years. I really don't do anything in this company that would suggest that I should be. I did OTR for 11 months be for I became a local dedicated driver. If you think I am only worth a dollar more than I am sure glad I don't work for you. I am also glad you don't work for our company as well. All you would do is complain how you have not gotten paid, or your not getting loads because you turned down loads. Its ok. I get it. You can't be happy unless you assume that I or someone else who is content with Knight is under a desk doing something.

You are joking, right?

Just curious. What is Knight giving you for your positive (albiet untruthful) blogs about them? Yeah, yeah, I know, you really ARE a legitimate driver. I understand. But, could it be that you are really just trying to make a little extra "something" to subsidize that low, low driver pay?Rolly Thanks this.

Ho do you get paid to blog on the internet? You guys are weird.

Ya gotta understand the mentality of some: It is impossible to be happy and content (note that word 'content') at any company that they do not personally approve of.
drozzer69 and Professional-Trucker Thank this. -
Your absolutely right. Content is deffinetly the word for a lot of posters on this site.
