New Trainee at May Trucking

I didnt run out, but came really close, and once you get lower than like 1/4 to 1/8th thats when my truck starts giving me the screw you warnings and then i know the filter is gettin jacked up and i need to get it to a shop. I was doing a regen daily on it for the few days before i got it to the shop and the warning just kept coming back on

 

Peterbilt is hilarious...
so they got the part they were waiting for a day early, so they said it would probably be done this evening, well it wasnt. glad i stayed at the hotel.
he asked me if anyone had replaced the fan hub assembly recently, hell i have no clue. so he said well they changed the part that needed to be changed, they put the truck outside to regen and it started smokin and steaming up, they bought it back into the shop and the radiator had washers and bolts all jammed into it and tore up, and the washers and bolts came from the fan hub assembly.... well I've done regens on the truck quite a bit recently, and the truck didnt actually have an issue with it besides the regen warning coming on, so maybe the people who forgot to put the washers and nuts back on are working on the truck right now lol. so now the radiator needs to be replaced... lets see what happens tomorrow

I remember, a year ago, when i joined may, them telling us at sage truck driving school about the 1000 trucks they adding to the fleet, and the terminals in gary and tennessee they were going to open. i talked to other drivers that had been with the company for months longer than me, that said they were told the same thing. a year later, 100 trucks and a house in gary that can fit a hand full of trailers in the backyard...
