Typically, how much weight do you guys haul ? Are you fully loaded most of the time or do you tend to carry less ? About how much ? Whats your average ?
I'm interested because I thought about getting a custom sleeper but that would add weight that might restrict my loads.

i'm over 40K 2/3rds of the time. that would be too much for a huge sleeper. And i really don't have the need, a 70 inch sleeper is more than enough for me. And long wheelbase trucks are no fun in tight spots

We will haul anything, but typically less than 35000 lbs. This past year we averaged 22800. Let me get this right, you claim to be a student? Yet you are wanting to get a truck with a custom sleeper! Perhaps you are putting the cart before the proverbial horse?

Relax guys. I am just trying to understand the business. I don't plan on buying a custom sleeper right away( maybe a few years from now?). My wife and I going to be a team & we're trying to explore all our options since we would be in the truck full time. I appreciate everyone's concern.

we run 42,000 to 50000 98% of the time

Only way I would have one of those is if it was 100% drop/hook and in a 40 acre lot especially the ones with the hoods but that's just my opinion cuss mine all the time and its only 86" sleeper lol as for weight about the same as everybody else just depends on what it is and were its going
