I put LED's everywhere on my personal pickup and also my tractor and trailer. Had to install resistors to get the flashers working properly.. I'll raise the hood in the morning and see what OHM's they are on my KW, if I can read it, and post back. Same thing will work on your Volvo. I think they cost me about $5 apiece I installed one on the left side and one on the right, flashers, turns work like a charm.

Google LED Resistor and you'll find parts, calculators and how to.

50watt 6ohm I got mine off eBay 20 bucks shipped for four of them. Been working for about a week now on my 2007 Volvo 630.
car11220 Thanks this. -

I bought mine at radio shack and soldered and shrink tubed them. Much cheaper

I saw Condo's reply and just figured that would be good enough... However when I serviced the truck this morning I did notice my resistors 50 watts 100ohms @ 1% or something like that.. ...anyways I installed one on each side at the front turn signal. I've got LED's everywhere on the truck and that put enough load in there to fix the blinking problems I had without the resistor. These are the same resistors I have on my pickup truck and I recall google search helped me find those.. They should work just fine with your volvo as well...
