I'm lost. He was a student, and he and his trainer drove to Atlanta then to Fontana. Why did he get dropped off at the bus station? Why did he go home? I didn't see anything mentioned about wanting to quit or anything...

obviously he left some stuff out. didnt get along with the trainer for some reason...whether his fault or trainer's, by the time hed made it back to fontana one of them had made the decision that he was done. leaving him at the bus station at 2:30am in a bad section of town was both incredibly heartless and incredibly stupid. how culpable would the guy have been when his student was found dead later that morning?cant fault england trainers for being too smart i guess.

  5. Hi to everyone out there
Hey guy's there was no ill will with the instructor or trainer if you can call him that,he was doing another load to Atlanta cause he's a solo driver he does this week in week out this time some else drove those extra miles for him, I was given the chance to drive right out of training so they send me with him to get some more training, which I didn't get, but I did get see how long I could hold off water, food and sleep and in six days I did. I passed that point where you make in life, you tell him hey your an idiot! cause I drove in rain, hell bound city traffic 5mph,uphill 20mph in gridlock traffic, one line 25 miles long at 25mph, I was loving it and I put up with a lot. I was ready, he was fine with the drive to Atlanta and going home. Believe you me I was in great spirit enjoying this drive across America to see all these states it was Great, because that's' what I wanted to do. When we got to Fontana CA it was Friday 1:45am he's going home.
Now he did not want me to sleep in his truck he's had for seven years ,that's why he dropped me off at the station.Told me there is no way I was to stay in his truck while he was at home for the next three days, because all of thing's in the truck he would have had to leave his key's with me. I had 50 dollars on me no place to sleep I asked if he can drop me of at company hotel say that's 16miles the wrong way for him, so there I was? Oh yeah if you find yourself alone with four guy's drugged up on junk, crack asking for money, food ,water and the coat you got on, with no weapon on you, which shall you give away? I thank God the cabby guy drove by me at that time,he told me the story of three people that were kill in that same area a week ago,so I told him never again, got me another job in trucking/welder, flatbed I love to Drive. be careful out there.

Wow that trainer was a #####.:biggrin_25521: He should have brought you back to the terminal at least so they could put you in a truck in the morning. That guy should never have been a trainer. All he did was use you to get the job done. Glad to see that you have another job lined up and hope that things work out for you.
