If I might mention, this is for anyone wanting to post their miles for the week. The good, bad, and ugly. If its too personal to you, that ok. This is just a good way for newcomers and the wannabes (like me) to get a better understanding and questions answered about the good, bad, and ugly. All info supplied and questioning has been extremely useful , including off topic. I hope more of the drivers will post theirs, if not, ok. I will say this, some things never change about this industry, as far as the upps and downs. Have a good day.

still waiting to go out with my trainer. i finished my school in cartersville on dec 5 was suppose to go out on the 10. they said they was having a hard time finding trainers for every body because of time of year. i was suppose to go with a non smoker but wasnt one available, i said i would go with a smoker. then they found me one. trainer called and said he was with a student stilland would call me when he finished up. he later called me and said that he finished up but was planning on takeing his vacation for christmas and if i went out now that it would only be for a couple of days then he would be on vacation so said it would be better to wait untill after christmasand go out at the first of year. on the 29th ellen calls me and said that he hurt his back while on vacationand would be out at least another week and said she would try to find me another trainer. she found me another trainer. then he calls and said his tuck broke down. it took kensworth 4 days to figure out what was wrong with truck. he called me yesterday and said truck was finally fixed and was comeing to get me but had a load to deliver first and had to get a load to here and said he should be here by thursday. im not mad but i am up set ill be starting when my classmates are finishing up. im so ready to go to work. i sold my boat and motorcycle to finance my career change and the money ran out before its time.

I Started running out of Eden in late August, and like many have said its up and down. My goal is 2000 every week. I would run saturdays but seems we dont have alot of loads that we can run on sat like the GA regional guys. Ive ran two Saturdays since I started. I hope theres more wknd loads when spring/summer hits. Overall I like it, and cant really see my self going back to OTR

1600 for last week but I only came out on Thursday. Working on a 1300 mile load that delivers tomorrow. My last five loads have been over 700 miles. Can't complain!

Yes, I am kind of on the fence about posting my miles. I do keep track weekly in notebooks. But I wouldn't want to create any bad feelings.
I think some of it has to do with individual styles of running and experience. You learn to set yourself up for maximum potential and I think each driver has personal goals they set for themselves. I do know some drivers that feel 2000 a week is good for them and others that feel less than 3000 is an off week.
