Recruiting drivers seems to have paid dividends for you. Looks like they give you alot of drop and hook freight for it . Most drivers i talk to arent even close to putting up the numbers you do.

    Blanche Thanks this.

I have not recruited anyone in 7 months. I also run harder than most drivers do and I am not afraid to drive when it is dark outside. I also deliver early when I can.

. I am scheduled to start ACT orientation on July 21! I have read this whole thread as I was skeptical of lease purchace as I have done it in the past with swift, however your thread has inspired me to take the leap! I do progressive shifting and it don't bother me at all to drive slow! I check tire pressure daily and make sure to do my services promptly! Is there anything else I can do to make it a success I live just south of joplin and have 7 kids that depend on me so there is no room for failure!!! Thanx for the extended thread Bigkid2 it's been very informative

    Big Kid 2,
My husband, Blaine, is working with JCT right now and hates it. They are rude, never answer messages, treat him like he is mentally slow and have screwed him over more than once. I have been reading the forums and telling him about the posts about ACT. He in interested in making the move, but would like to talk to some drivers that actually work there. I cannot pm since I am new to the site, but would you be willing to message me your number so he can call and talk to you?

    Thanks,
    Blechko and Liz

Also, if there are any other ACT drivers who would be willing to talk to my husband, Blaine. If you pm me with your number I will pass it on to him. He wants to get away from JCT badly!!!

    Jaguar115,
Thank you for the information. I will pass it along to my husband and he will most likely contact you. I would respond to your message, but i don't have 7 posts yet. This makes 4:biggrin_255:

Thank you for seeing through all the glitter and like you I'm not buying most of this glorified pick up here, drop there continuous circle of easy runs and no hang ups and no breakdowns blah blah blah. Trucking doesn't go this smooth. You never hear about a flat or mudflap missing or lights out. It's all d and h and wine and roses. I'm sorry! But I am just not buying it! Thanks again!
