Where is everyone?

Sitting in tolono IL deliver in the am. Good lord this week has been a go, go, go week. I don't know how people do this short stuff that is for sure.

 

I agree hors i really hate doing little short runs i love when i can just run for 3 to 4 days on one run

 

Does that mean you're going to give Barney a little more credit for doing short stuff all the time? lol.

 

Cartersville, Ga at the TA. Hopefully arrive tomorrow and unload tomorrow.

 

It does have that affect on you doesn't it? Especially right after Xmas, when the final quarterly taxes for '12 are due!

Yeah I have been telling him all week that I don't know how in the heck he does it week in and week out. And you need to start answering the phone I cant handle this much of the old man. LOL

 

I've been enjoying my nice long runs Hors. IA-ID then ID-NM. Got one going back to IA now from NM. Be jelous lol!

 

Ah its all good. Take the good with the, lets say not so good. The pay is great with all the splits and short hauls im making as much if not more then if i was long but i enjoy loading drive for a few days empty and reload and repeat. That is what I have gotten accustomed too.

 

I've got a good story for ya when ya get back in town. Anyways, it's been trying on everyone. Rhonda's been taking more smoke breaks than normal.

 

Home heading up to NH via CT and MA with a 5 stop steel load...Tired of running like this Monday did a 5 stopper up to Rochester via Syracuse finished @ 3 reloaded @ 5pm and Had to be back in Hauppague LI 8am the next morning! Unload Early Tues Dh to NJ P/u a load heading to Philly outta Paterson, Finish in Philly @ 2 NJ DH to Burlington NJ p/u a lumber load heading to Bloomfield CT @ 8am Weds morning got there slept @ the Pilot in Milford CT for a few hours around 1 got orders to DH to Burlington again now under this steel load gotta be in Southington CT @ 4am then 3 stops in MA and last stop in Belmont NH. I'm f**king tired of running like an dog told my boss today if he doesn't get me over to LS or Mercer by the month's end He can take his truck and shove it and I quit! (Right now I run for a guy who pretty much *dispatches about 10 owner operators plus 2 of his own trucks and then takes a percentage off the top) Told my boss he can make more and then some via another company and I can run legal! Im off to take a shower now and get some rest before back on the road again!
