Thing that is really pissing me off is that I am so bored, I am going off my diet. Easier to stay on it when I am moving.

Just got my load, Ft Meyers to Ontario, OR by Tuesday. That's how I want to do it, 2800 miles, reset, repeat.
gave me the load one hour before they had to pay me another day layover.

Don't be surprised if they call you after you load and have you swap somewhere with a team. That used to happen to me.

I've had that happen before in GA. Dropped my load, went to Armstrong, swapped with a team, delivered in Atlanta, picked another up, swapped it with a team again, then took their load to North Carolina. You would think teams would have enough hours to hit their own docks instead of wasting a solo drivers time.

Some shippers contractually require the freight hauler to use team trucks.

the messed up thing about the first swap was that they wanted me to swap at the Petro on 285 at 1 in the morning. I get there the lot is full, the truck I am supposed to swap with is not there, and it is a pay lot. I communicate all this to the night dispatch and their only reply is "WE DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING"
so I have to call them up on the phone and ask where the other truck is, It is north of atlanta, delayed because of breakdown, so I say I am going north towards them. Get a parking spot at the TA north of atlanta at 3:30, sack out, and the f--ing team wakes me up 30 minutes after I go to sleep.
