can you haul sand with it ? When I was down there back in April they were needing pneumatics for sand pretty bad. I don't know much about pneumatics, some guy tried to explain to me that some could be used for sand and some couldn't. I remember he said it was kind of expensive to convert them because you have to clean all the cement out.

One of the biggest differences between a sand and cement trailer is the piping. In a sand trailer the product lines will be steel where most cement trailers it is aluminum. Sand will wear away the aluminum piping very quickly.
I can't say anything about the sand market but it based on what people have said it seems like the party is coming to an end. So many people have tried to cash in on the paycheques that rates have been driven down. I am looking to purchase another cement trailer and I know the time line to get one is a lot shorter because there has been fewer orders placed for sand cans.dannythetrucker Thanks this.
