Everything I've seen on here about Pumpco has been positive...good luck; how'd you get an interview with them? I mean, did you walk in and apply or call, or internet?

Omg that is outstanding! I'm not going through a school; doing it on my own and getting a little wheel time from a trucker friend who is also going to let me use his truck for the test. Soon as the ink is dry on my license (hopefully within the next two weeks) I'm going to run down to that yard and apply, if they are still hiring hot and heavy so please, keep us posted on whether they are hiring. I guess I should ask...are you going to be hauling water and drilling fluids?

I work for pumpco in north Texas. It's a pretty good company. My only real compliant is the equipment. All the trucks are dot legal and all that but we use lots of older pumps which means lots of extra work. I hope you understand what you are getting into. Frac is not like hauling water or sand or oil. Your gonna work your butt off with very little sleep. But the money and benifits are awesome. Ill bring home just under 6500 this month and that's with family insurance.
kee1227 Thanks this. -
Aw dang my hopes are dashed; 51 year old woman here and I know I'll never get hired for that.
