I am in Brasil, bought this water cushion at a store that sells hospital products, etc... It was about U$15.00. It is said to relieve lower back pain, provide good support, it doesn't become out of shape, it permits better blood circulation, it doesn't build up any heat, etc... My dad is on a wheel chair now and finds the cushion very comfortable. I am planning on using it for driving...

Check out places that sell medical supplies for wheelchairs. there's some cushions that are really dense foam. They are expensive, tho.
But..if you're like my buddy who's been sitting on his butt since he was 19 ...he's now 62, dove off the diving board the wrong way, broke his neck is a semi-quadraplegic... you want something reasonably comfy. The seat of some of those expensive electric wheelchairs is solid hard plastic...
Also Alaska Leather sells really plush sheepskins.... they're redoing their website, easiest to call or email them. Yeah, they're for bikes, but call anyway....
