I figured you guys must be rolling now. Awfully quiet around here

 

Yep. I have been home the last 3 days. Had to deal with matters related to my brother's death. It wasn't sudden, it was a process and I knew last Saturday night when I saw him that he wouldn't make it past this week. He had no children, spouse or possessions to speak of.

Anyone reading this, PLEASE get a will with advanced directives and power of attorney done. I don't care if you think you are going to live another hundred years, do it! You can go online and prepare one for a hundred bucks.

We have a company meeting including breakfast in the morning at the local casino. Gonna go since they pay drivers $75 to show up

Also found out today they are paying me two day bereavement wages for the time I needed to take care of my brother's affairs, that's pretty cool on their part.

After meeting in morning I head over to Coos Bay to pick up loaded trailer and deliver in L.A. Monday morning.
