Dont look at Pittsburgh Power... will only make the decision harder lol -
Option #1 if you ask me.

I want to know how to get realistic mpg numbers from the different model/specs

I know a guy claims his 379 c-15 13sd flat top gets about 6 pulling a van. About 5 pulling his bull wagon.
I drove a Volvo 780 with the D12 13sp, and running like a normal person 65ish pulling a bull wagon and avg 6.5 -
Im in a 09 cascadia with dd15 and avg 5.7
-
Drive 55 - 60 .... My 4th quarter IFTA (since some people don't believe me) was 6.9 ... This is with an 02 Classic pulling around 48k

My trucks pretty much a flattop T600, no roof fairing, pulling a van and it does 6mpg running speed limits, better if slower... Light loads, some back roads traffic lights, some mountains but mostly just small hills.... In all honesty my truck looks ok and runs great but if I had things to do over again I'd go with comfort and economy over style.. Though they do have a few downsides nothing rides better than a VNL Volvo and they get excellent fuel economy.Elroythekid Thanks this.

Well i like the idea of a Volvo with a Cummins and 13. I dont like their motors at all. And those factory seats suck.

I get about the same MPG in my new Cascadia as I did in my old company's W9 (5.5 to 7). I will be buying a W9 as soon as I can. Big hood is trucking! I will take a little less to get a great truck.
blacklabel Thanks this.
