Where is everyone?

I've got an East Chicago, IN for Monday deliver, reload out of East Chicago back to the yard then I'm hauling another load of machinery to Poole, Georgia.

Saw a truck on I77 below cleveland that had struck an overpass, purple star car yanking a step hauling military stuff...

 

Wasn't me this time. I have a red trk. and it's sitting in Mn.
How high was he with a step deck ld?

 

It was a 13'6" overpass so he must've been a good clip higher...


He had on what looked like a cabover truck with a box on the back of it, with a trailer in tow. He had hit the overpass with the box and it was laying all over the road when I came through...they had 77 shut down right above the OH pike and had a tractor out scooping up the remnants of the box and some guys inspecting the bridge along with a state trooper having a conversation with the driver.

On a side note, other than loosing its box off the back, his load was still secured and sitting on his deck, ready for delivery! Minus one van body.

 

Anybody driving through Wyoming? East imor west?

 

Made it over to the Oasis Travel Center in Robertsdale, AL. I-10 exit 53. I highly recommend it if your ever coming thur. Huge parking lot and an awesome restruant full of old train decor and memorabilia. Very cool place !!

 

I've stopped at the Oasis on I44 in MO and I really like it...Wish I could get out that way!

On a side note, my truck has had problems lately with pressurized oil blowing my oil fill cap off and spewing oil everywhere, along with what sounds like a gasket blown out of my manifold as i'm driving down the road (that ticking sound).

I guess, it's something to do with my air compressor, so my truck goes back to CAT once again.

I'll be in a maroon 379 this week instead of my black one...

 

It ain't your eyes, that is the problem, it's those dirty windows!

 

Well 7k in the box through wy was fun now I'm headed home for the rest of the weekend passing through Carlin nv now

 

Wasn't me in the Star, I'm at the house. Got a load going to Benning for Tuesday
