The adventures of 'Team Klingon'

My boyfriend whom I met from work,whod had thunk k&b would be a trucking company/dating service,lol.We've been together going on 9 months and the next OTR job I get will be with him.I have no doubt we would get along.Heck we have'nt even fought once and no disagreements either.He tells everybody im his wife or fiancee.I tell him he's just a friend with benefits till you put a ring on my finger,lol.

 

And I suppose it would also apply for being "alone" ..... how well one does out there on the road alone for days and weeks on end..... I guess it cuts both ways .....

 

I'm not the easiest to get along with because I have'nt found a true gentleman till 8months ago.He works nites I work days and how many guys would bring your lunch to you.Do pretrips on your trk ect ect.Ya im spoiled,lol.Ray and I will be looking for a real good team company with excellent equipment and low brk downs and allow pets.

 

I understand Lady K, about being miserable without your honey ... but since I don't have one .... and since I spend a lot of time alone now .... I figure ... sitting at home, sleeping alone ..... whether in a house or a truck ... I suppose would be the same ... I'm somewhat of a loner ... not by choice ... but it's been quite a while ... so I'm used to it .... But I'm with you .... If I had a sweetheart, I probably wouldn't even consider doing this.

 

He has 28 yrs exp and i've been driving since 2003.Thanks for the company but I think we'll be looking into a company that does require exp.Not that Central is a bad company or anything just prefer a company with a low profile and small to med size carrier.Yes Ray is a keeper.I would say I hit the jackpot when I met him.Actually he's liked me long before I knew it.He always looked for me at the end of my shift helping me unhook or just come to say hi.
