From the article"Witnesses described the semi as a late 90s "long-nose" Peterbilt, maroon in color, and pulling a silver trailer with damage to the right side."

I found it look, oh...there's another maroon Pete, and Oh there's another maroon Pete and Oh.....

You have a better chance of finding a white freightliner or volvo!

That's crazy. I thought they had him by now. It's a always possible the SUV driver didn't get struck and over corrected and the driver never seen it. I have seen these situations both ways where a trucker ran the car off the road and never noticed and where the car swerved toward the truck and freaked out by jerking the car into the woods and it looked like the trucker did it from a distance. Who knows?

man you people are harsh!!! could be that the pete was in the wrong otherwise i believe the driver would have stopped(i hope)... thats the fishy part... maybe the witnesses were busy trying to help the woman and child... maybe the driver knew and said effit but still two folks got killed regardless if that makes any difference to you all... i bet if it was you and yours on the recieving end your response would be totally different... we all have family that commute in the same traffic so keep that in mind when you think about this story....
