New medical-clinic chain announced

Sounds like a great idea to me.

 

Hi There is another medical service out there caqlled "PD MD" I believe they are based at the PETRO K town Tn I just got a DOT exam at the Peru Ill office they a
have several services available I think their website is PD MDdot com It cost me $65 bucks

 

I would be interested to know what sort of medical care they plan to provide. Are they going to just be a doc in a box, where you can be seen when you have a sore throat, or will they provide care and follow up where ever a driver might be? (Such as monitoring blood pressure and lipids, for instance. Obviously with an internet based system this would be possible.) What about preventative care? How do they plan to get drivers to take advantage of this? Do they have any ideas about how to get drivers to change their diet and lifestyle when the job is sedentary? And from an insurance geek's viewpoint, who will pay for this? I think this is a great idea, I would just like to know more about it!
