What is the average mileage you'll get with averitt? Is it pretty safe to say I wont have a paycheck less than $600? I work with them now and of course the week they were finding me a truck and orientation I made less than that but as far as being on the road.

I have been with Averitt for a year and averaged 2300 miles a week. I had a few paychecks under $600 take home when my miles were low that week but not too many.

Are you in training? I'm hoping this is a training paycheck. That would be a pitiful check to try to live on. Yikes.

Last week I had over three thousand miles and cleared over eight hundred after taxes. On top of that I had virtually zero stress and great communication with my dispatcher when I needed him. Could you live with that?

BTW: I hope your background check comes out okay / quickly!

    Tnronin Thanks this.

The pay will probably vary per terminal . Averitt has a lot of retail runs around here - Cracker Barrel and Shoe Carnival for example

I start at 33cpm, I don't think pay is dependent on the domicile, it is dependent on if you are dedicated etc. IIRC you top out at 42.5cpm after a little over a year. I'm still in training and get $600/week. Two more weeks and counting.
