The Gap clothing warehouse in Gallatin, TN is one of the best shippers in the country. Friendly folks, lots of drop & hook, and the loaders are fast if you do have to live-load.

 

Hiland-Roberts Ice Cream in Norfolk, NE. Arrived at 1400 for a 1500 appointment. Backed in, loaded and out of the dock at 1445.... fully loaded, 42000 pounds. And, they gave me four tubs of ice cream, thanking ME for doing them a favor.

 

Schreiber Foods in Green Bay, WI. Arrived at 0530 for a 0600 appointment. Was unloaded of 44,000 pounds and out of the dock at 0615. Broke my seal prior to backing in and THAT was a no-no. Got my head handed to me, but they were very polite in chewing it off! LOL!

Best so far has been Columbia Distributing in Bend, OR. 3 times I've been there, full 44,000+lbs, and each time was rolling out no more than 40 mins after arriving. Now that's good!!!

 

Been a while since a good one was listed, so I'll go....

Hill's Pet Products in Richmond, IN. They have several facilities there. This one is about a mile from the Love's, north of I-70. Pulled a load in there, but they had no empties. Went back the next morning, still none. Later in the day, Crete finally decides to give me a load out of there. I dealt with three different ladies at the window...all were pleasant and kind. The last one even moved up my loading time when I brought her the information "since I was there now". My 1600 load was ready about 1130. It was loaded to ride, scaled out fine.

Good experience.

 

Here s some of my favorite places:

1. Southesastern Food Merchandisers-Pelham, AL. I ve back in the dock at 4:36am with a truckload of subway chicken and at 4:47am I was given back my bills.

2. Mitchell Grocery- Albertville, AL- Arrive at 9am for a 9 30appt. 10am back into a dock, and 10 25am, truck unloaded and out of the gate

3.Costco-College Park, GA- Arrived 6am for 8am appt. Waited in line, 620am back into a dock and 640am the coaster buzzer went off and out of the gate.

4. Tractor Supply DC in Hagerstown, MD Arrived 7pm for a 7am appt next day.1915 backed in dock, and two forklift drivers had me empty in 15 mins

 

S and J Transfer in Hamilton, MS. Arrived at 1300 and was rolling by 1345. They even have a public scale onsite for $5.

 

It's hard to beat Costco! In and out quick and love that pager.

 

Lozier in Omaha Nebraska is another good one, mostly drop and hook but no drama for the most part.
