    That's a low figure for all the weight and how far it is. Half of the total will be just fuel unless you drive 55 the whole way.

    Why wouldn't you take this load? Fair rate and not that difficult?

    Since when is 1.88 a fair rate? Now lets talk about the dead area its going into, it has to be tarped and its a full weight load. A fair rate would be around 2.25 a mile. and that is if I lived on the east coast and needed to get back.

    1.88 isn't a fair rate huh? I'd have to disagree! How much is your fixed cost per mile including you paying yourself a fair rate? In other words what does it cost you to operate per mile?
