actually since communication in Dallas between departments is NON existent, you would NOT have set at all. Your not taking meat out of the northeast, so you would not have set at all.

I was off that night.

He may have been needing to cover someone elses load and you were the 'lucky' target.
As TLea says, If you can make ontime, legal and safe delivery of your load, you do not have to accept the repower. They get blown off all the time. -
Thanks and duly noted.

It was daytime anyway!

Between the depts?? Communication WITHIN the depts is non-existent!!
Hi, TL!! How's things going?? -
So true
The job has a life cycle of hot and cold, up and down. The positives strongly out weigh the negatives though. Now driving around at 117,000 gross weight when loaded. 4 axle tractor, and 4 axle trailer.
Your lease is about done correct? -
Finished up in December. Got the 'feelers' out, fielding interviews. Couple more weeks left, should be home by end of February if not before. Responses to resumes were slow before Christmas, then went absolutely crazy. Signed a one year so we could paid the bank account a bit more too.
Glad things are going well for you.
