Holy crap!

I read somewhere last year the cost of these seats was either $3000 or $6000 a piece. Old timers setting in

Opps I found an old thread on this. Yep you are correct 6000 installed. Look at all of the benefits. Drivers spend their life in their seat so per hour over 5 years wouldn't be much.
Wife and I spent 4000 on a themporpedic bed best money ever spent.dannythetrucker and BigBadBill Thank this. -
I'm in the market for one, an idea of price ? also, does it rotate 180 degrees ? I have an International and am rather fond of the rotating seat.

$6000 and you can't even install it yourself, no thanks I'll pass.

You only spent 4K on a bed at home. My wife and I spent 18K for a bedroom suite. You spend 8 hrs a day in a bed and maybe 1 in a car but then spend 25K on a car. Peterbilt seats are good enough for my TB.

something else electronic to break on the truck....what's next? "sorry honey, can't come home until I see the seat mechanic and pay $70 per hour to get my seat fixed"
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
It is not even heated and cooled for that kind of money. Spent $900 for Prime Seatings top of the line seat that is leather and has heat and cooling in the seat that I find very comfortable. Lot's of adjustments too.
dannythetrucker Thanks this.
