Woo don't tell the trucking companies this. Tell them you have been driving full time with your friend for the past two years. When they want proff your friends word or if they want pay stubs make some fake ones very simple won't take you more than an hour to do remember honesty isn't the best policy

I just talked to one company and told them I drove a little over the past few years. She asked right away how much I drove with him. I said no more than 1 weekend or so a month. She told me I should be fine with the 40 hour refresher course I finished this past Friday. But unfortunately they didn't have work in my area. But this gave me some hope that I might find a company that will work with me.
Thanks,

who were you thinking about going with trucker joe?

I'm not sure they want me to disclose their name, but they are a small shop in West Palm Beach. I found them on Craigslist. This was the first company that I applied with that didn't have an online application form. They used a handwritten form. I'm knew to all of this but it seems to me they could want to hire me on but than a few days latter could hear back from their insurance company that my experience doesn't meet their requirements. If I can't get local work I might go OTR to build up some "recent experience" than get a local trucking job asap. Schneider is looking for drivers near me in the Fort Lauderdale area.
Thanks,
Trucker Joe
