Hey Big I will be back in Little Rock on Dec. 30th also . It will be around 10 PM though. So i'll try to look you up when i'm there. I've already been through everything and will be testing out on Monday the 31st. Hopefully I will have my own truck by Wednesday.

Hey guys my experience was pretty good. We had a great class, and we all past the physical and drug test except for 3 I think. They said this was one of the biggest classes they had in recent months and that we were the first that they could remember passing all of the physical part of it. As far as orientation goes it started Sunday morning around 7:00. Just alot of classroom work. I have a short memory so I cant remember if drug test and the physical stuff was Monday or Tuesday, but it wasnt all that bad. Just dont drink any coffee cause you have to make sure your blood pressure is not high or you will not get to do the physical stuff and they will send you home. Also dont drink to much water because it might dillute your urine and that will cause you to have to take the drug test over. As far as the physical test I didnt think it was that bad but some people did not like it too much. First thing they did to us was stand you up and measure how far your body can move, for ex. touch toes or floor and how far back you can stretch, also side to side. How far you can turn your head just all kinds of body movements. Then you go to the torture room but like I said your blood pressure has to be good and your pulse rate has to be good also or you cant go on. In this room you do one sit up and you lay on your stomach and put your hands behind your head and lift your head and shoulders off the floor for 2 minutes. You have to do some step motions for about 2 minutes and they lay you on this table to check your spine and knees and ankle movements. then you have to lift some different amounts of weight up to a certain amount. They dont tell you how much you have to lift to pass but we all passed. It wasnt that hard,we had a woman in our class and she did it too. Then you go out in this area they call the barn and lift 120 lb tarp up on the trailer 2 times. Walk on a balance beam type thing that is laying on the floor. You have to climb up on the back of the trailer and back down make sure you watch how they do it and do it the same or at least with 3 points of contact at all times, in other words dont jump off the trailer because we heard they will send you home for that. Then you have to jump up on this simulated lumber to see if you can do it there is rolled up tarps there you can use also. It is probably about 5 ft. high. Ijust got a little run at it and jumped and pulled myself up, but alot of people used the tarp to step on and then jumped up. Once you get thru that the rest of it is mostly classroom work with a little bit of driving in the yard to check manuverability. Well thats the first week as far as I can remember.
