Just wondering...Do you work for GulfMark? I'll need to live in a company bunkhouse if I go and work for them.

    Thanks.

It's not to hard depending on the person giving the exam . If you go to Superior Carriers website , they have a video of the actual exam but like I said . Depending on the person you might do 1/2 of it.

well i just called kenans headquarters and spoke to a lady in safety. I asked her if there is an additional pre work screen along with the regular dot physical and drug screen. She told me they used to do it and practically everybody passed so they dont do it anymore. Just the regular ole drug test and physical. She said they were not getting any real return on the prework screen...so i guess thats a good thing lol

Lol... it's funny because what they have you do for the exam , you really won't do in the actual work environment for the most part .:)

Yep crawling under a trailer to check for leaks, brakes, cracks in the frame aren't necessary. When I worked for Eagle I couldn't believe the lazy bums. Just jump in the truck and go, don't even check the oil.

Hey rug_trucker, good morning....i cant help but thinking the woman in the kenan safety department was full of S*** lol....i dont see any reason for her to lie, but im just paranoid like that....im not obese by any means, i spent the greater part of last year unemplyed and im honestly a bit out of shape. Nothing that cant be fixed with getting back into work...any input is appreciated

I crawled under some paralell bars to simulate crawling under a tank for my work well for Eagle. Another exercise to simulate opening a hood, adding weights to a box and lifting it. Then climbing up and down a ladder. More I can't remember.
