Much happier!!!
Being with Farm2Fleet we pretty much do our thing, find loads, book the load and then let the company know.
We run the area's we want to run ...well pretty much lol and skip the area's we don't like . For me its a little stressful at times if we have a bad week its on me or the truck breaks down and it sucks but slowly rebuilding the ol shaker.

although this year has been the exception. for some reason both utah and idaho are the only cold states in the country. and it's been bad. the whole month.
everywhere else has been in the lower 30's. -
wyoming was -16 the other day when i went through. heading down 97 tomorrow through oregon though and chemult is supposed to be in the high 30's to 40's. gonna be nice. have an offer from a refer company and could actually take the truck home. thinking of making the switch

Yep, it was -6 in Rawlings WY this morning. Idaho and Oregon are in the teens and twenties. I am sitting in La Grand OR at the J and will make my way to the Canadian border tomorrow to drop the strawberries I picked up in Texas. Hopefully this load will go smoother than the last one. The pineapples I hauled from Florida to Texas turned into a disaster since the customer rejected 15 of the 20 palettes. I was hoping to score a free pineapple. I guess I better watch what I wish for the next time.
I picked up a stranded driver the other day that had run his Volvo out of fuel between Roswell and Vauhn NM. He was in better spirits than I would have been after sitting on the side of the road in BFE. What reaaly burned me was the New Mexico DOT pick up that swerved around the guy and kept on going. I couldn't see a number on the pick up or I would have turned him in. -
wyoming is common for the zero temps. idaho ISN'T common for negatives. and utah isn't common for single digits either.
why would you sit in le grande, that place is a dive.
i had dinner at the baker corral in baker city last night. not a bad place and the food was great. they even had all the fixings i like for my salad bar. -
i see over in the accidents section. some major truck drama in the boise area on 84.
glad i'm home and won't be going thru till tomorrow. -
