Need Cat C15 Acert Fuel Part #

    Appearantly Cat's parts server is down so im turning to you guys for help. I am replacing my transfer pump on my 06 MSX Acert C15. I was told at Kenworth this morning there are 2 transfer pumps for cats now. One is the standard pump and the other Is a high volume higher pressure pump that is for engines above 600hp. Since Mr Haney just finished installing a stage 1 and sorted out additional entry problems in my ecm...Im thinkin I need the high volume high pressure pump. I have not seen that pump dIscussed on here so when I searched nothing came up. Here is what I have found so far...Transfer pump Is either a 316-6863 or a 316-6864. I also want to change the fuel rail pressure check valve which searching on here yeilded a 233-6742 and a 295-1441.

    If anyone knows for sure about these part # I would appreciate your input...thanks

    the only 2 pumps i know about is the older style with a plug at the 3:00 position and the newer one with the allen plug at the 4:00 position. the only thing that can help is the newer stronger spring for the new style pump. the old style pump you shim the spring. you can shim the new style pump spring if you cant get the updated spring and need to run. but it wont last long with the weak spring,because the spring will loose its tension after a while. if i remember correctly the high volume pump was for a certain engine arrangement it may not apply to yours.
