Hello everyone !!!! I'm so new to this my umbilical cord is still dragging on the floor . Presently going thru class to obtain my CDL hoping to get it by the end of next week. I use to be a drywall finisher had my own business and also worked for a a few union companies until last year . work has been extremely slow for the past three years or so . So i decided to get into trucking , knowing this industry will be around for a long time to come ( has to be better than sucking dust all day ). If you have any company's that are good to start out with please let me know , any and all responses will be greatly appreciated . ( you can even pm me about them if you don't want to reply on here thanks )

Many drivers on this forum can help you, but they need to know the city and state you live in. They may know a good company to recommend, but you may not be in the hiring area. Put your questions on "Questions from new drivers thread." I will say, get all your endorsements, including tanker along with a passport & TWIC. The best money will be in tanker.
