Newbie in training !!

Hello everyone !!!! I'm so new to this my umbilical cord is still dragging on the floor . Presently going thru class to obtain my CDL hoping to get it by the end of next week. I use to be a drywall finisher had my own business and also worked for a a few union companies until last year . work has been extremely slow for the past three years or so . So i decided to get into trucking , knowing this industry will be around for a long time to come ( has to be better than sucking dust all day ). If you have any company's that are good to start out with please let me know , any and all responses will be greatly appreciated . Thanks Chinatown . I am making my way through this sight trying to see what everyone else is talking about and where to post questions , I have alot to learn about this industry .
