made it to parachute,co. off of i-70 with 12 min left to drive. rest area is not ideal but had no choice. took me a couple of rounds to find how to get in lol

Don't panic ... no loads offered. DM hooked me up this morning ... do a 34 then it's off to PA tomorrow morning.

Paychecks were early this week, so I have $$$ again.
Spending a couple nights at Buffalo Bill's in Primm.
They have a very nice CDL discount here.

Up about $200 so far.
After dropping $20 at the blackjack table I tried a slot machine.
$20 in and $251 out, after about 15 minutes of play. Then I walked away.

Cooling my heels at the Best Western just south of Kalispell, MT. Got here@ 2:45 pm (I don't deliver til 7:00 am tomorrow morning) and DID NOT want to sit in the truck (it's a C-Mart, NOTHING except junk food and beer) for over 17 hours. I walked into the motel and asked if they could do any better than the $87.00 (plus tax) I was quoted online. They said "$74.00 plus tax", so I took it. More than I wanted to spend but this is the nicest motel I've stayed since leasing my truck.

woke up this morning and found power steering fluid on the frozen ground( was 10 degrees at 6 this mornimng) called on road and they sent me up to kensworth in grand junction,co and they said it mite be until tuesday b4 it got fixed. so onroad said i can make the delivery and then head to denver terminal. have afew other issues with truck, so here i sit in denver. they said it won't be till tuesday but at least i finished my load

 

17 hours vs. $74 bucks?
I'd take the 17 hours in my truck.

I got 2 nights for less than that, plus I won some money.
