If you're shooting .50, then it's time to invest in a press and dies. The M82's recoil is similar to a shotgun, so I could easily throw 50 rounds in an outing. I almost bought one a few years ago after shooting one at the range. I was saving up for a HK auto sear and the MP-5 that came with it, but then I got married and paid for the wedding with my gun money.

New Barrett is $5 a round according to their price list, and normal pricing for reload API is around $3000/1000 rounds. That is if you can find any of it!

Barrett is the top of the line. I've shot one many times, and nothing beats the accuracy and recoil for such a large caliber. Besides, if its the choice of the armed forces for picking off terrorists and a-holes, I think it's good enough for me to be shooting watermelons at the range ;)
