Thank you for your input .... I really appreciate it... I don't mind being out there 3-4 weeks at a time ... it's 3-4 MONTHS that doesn't get me too excited ....

Very few people I talk to don't go home, like 2. They are crazier than me, lol. I stay out 6 weeks at a time because I can take it and it's a little more money when we are at a point where we need what we can get (my Fam). But most people get home after four weeks no problem. At least that has been my experience...

This should prolly go in a gripes page but I'm putting it here...
i go into a Kangaroo Pilot and ask the cashier if they have any showers. She says, "yes but we don't have any right now." I blinked a couple of times waiting for the rest of her explanation but she was already looking behind me at the next customer. Apparently I was interrupting her selling sodas and candy bars. I said, "Ok. Can you tell me when they might be open?" Her, "If we have someone clean one 15-20 minutes. If they're all full it might be a while. We don't really know." A lot more blinking as I wonder if I've somehow strayed into the twilight zone. "Ok, how do we get to where we know what it's gonna be?" She got her manager's attention who then had someone else get me a shower ready... Wow. I am through with the Pilot in Dunn, NC. No toilets in the showers to top it off.

Well my trainee about rear ended another truck in the border patrol check station this afternoon on I-10 in TX. He was reaching for his drink and forgot to push the clutch. I guess this was his last straw, he's flying home to NYC from ATL tomorrow night. With this dude, I hate to say it but I'm glad.

Yah thats a lot of stuff. As long as you don't mind sleeping with it on a twin bed. If there is some stuff you do not need, you can put it in a locker at CRSWVC just ask Keren in the store and she can get you a locker.
    Hope that helps

I can relate. I am a very calm and patient person and I blew up at newbie 8 today after he tried to run me over. We stopped in Portland and my grandma is in the hospital so I told him I am going to go see her and I'll be back in the afternoon. I am kinda hoping he will be gone when I get back. My parents, they picked me up, took us out to dinner at the TA and they said they have no clue how I put up with him. I just keep telling myself it;s just 3 more weeks.

Did that one look like an old Road Ranger? There's a Road Ranger Pilot near Springfield, IL that also had no toilets in the showers.
