Back in 2001 I was an owner and my father in law was the driver. My wife did all paper work and accounting.
In 2003 my wife passed away and I sold my truck and trailer to my father in law.
Now it is ten years later and I am about to be a driver.
How can I find out any information as far as pass authorities and DOT info for my old truck/company?
How to check running authority and DOT history?

Being that old it may be out of system. I tried pulling up my info but it crashes on my iPad. I closed ours in 08. -
You should still be able to pull it up using the name, MC number or DOT number. I believe they stay in the system, whether your authority is active or not.

Lots of "inactive" authorities show up.

Licensing and insurance page, choose carrier search and "go". FMCSA site. Tried it and they are having problems with the page. I'll post the link later.
I use it all the time for back round checks on brokers and other trucking companies I deal with.
li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov
