Sometimes you just need to get out of the truck so the $74 is worth it every now and then. Stuck here in memphis getting a b service and a windshield.

Went to pu truck this morning, and it was dead. Had to get it jumped. Now at the Terminal here. Did not want to go back home. Mac 30 and no loads. Lots of trucks sitting here. At least I get to keep my MT. One thing that I like about this terminal. They do not take your mt. Also now between the hours of 0730 and 1530 during the week, can get DEF without having to go thru Pre-Qual. Been some time since I have been here. Now sitting and Idling so that can charge the batteries. Was dead due to not running much in the clod weather.

If I had been at a truck stop I would have stayed in the truck. I was parked at a c-mart and there was no where to go and nothing to do. I watched TV, did my laundry, screwed around on the computer, AND took a bath! Last time I took a bath on the road was Little America in Flagstaff.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Still in Columbus. Nothing at all on MAC 30. Not seeing many trucks pull out. Looks like idling all night. Temp down to 5. With the dead batteries this morning, not going to take a chance of shutting down and not turning over in the morning. Even at a terminal. Plus it will give it almost 20 hours of idling, plenty of time to charge them.

PA Turnpike service plaza, around Carlisle. Do not know why I took this heavy load going to NJ Costco. MPG bites. ALready a pplan, pu in Philly at the Penn Wharehouse and t-call in Gary. With the weather forcast, tomorrow and Thursday could be really fun with lake affect. Woke last night to see a msg waiting on the QC. Did not open it but could read the first sentence, do you have available driving hours. Sent about 2300. Normally these are someone dropped the ball and did not cover a load or re-power. Ignored it. This morning had a voice mail. Yes, a load that needed covered. Sears to Altoona, with a message, help me out and I will get you a load outta there for anywhere you want to go, FL, GA or TX. Heard that before. Do the favor, and all of a sudden, load disappears.

At the Loves in Heyburn, ID. Grabbed a load last night (off Mac 30) headed to Seattle. Between the drive from Rocker (Butte), MT to Salt Lake, a live unload, a drop-n-hook, then more driving I finished the day with 10 mins on my 11. The Seattle load delivers Thursday @ 7:00.

    Mira Loma, again - sigh.

Got a pplan earlier that was going to Tucson, AZ. 500 miles with over 2 days until delivery.
Turned it down because my home time request is for the 25th in Sacramento.

Got another as I was heading to the TA West. Picks up at Mira Loma and delivers about 70 miles away with 2 extra stops.
    Costco's.
No decent reason to turn it down, as it is all done tomorrow. Plus it gives me a few extra miles and stop pay for this next pay period - which I really need after my last load.
TA was pretty full, so I decided to just camp out here.

Hopefully I will get a load to where I need to go by this weekend. At least I'm still in the ballpark.
