I am going to install new injectors in a 3406E.
I have never done injectors on the E model or newer cats.
Any help on the torq specs and what all has to come off would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Gotta yank off the the jakes and whatnot. Couldn't give ya torque specs. Got mine installed for one hell of a deal from a buddy of mine. Your local cat or any cat shop for that matter can probably give you a pretty detailed printout on it. Good luck!

Like stated....jakes and rockers. Make sure to drain fuel from the head before you pull the first injector. A long screwdriver and rag will clean where the orings sat in the head. Lube new with engine oil. Torque to 40 ft/lbs. They say use new bolts, but I've done dozens with the old bolts with no problems.

Well I just got old injectors out, 3 had the lower oring broken, one of the 3 the oring was over a third gone.
One injector cup looked lie it had antifreeze in it.
Is ther any special tool for changing the injector cups? Or should i even mess with them?

    Thanks

Yes while you're there change them. Drain coolant out. I made my tool because Cats was too expensive. A piece of 1" threaded rod makes a great one. Make sure you get the updated cups. Most dealers should have the new style though. Make sure to clean the bores on the head too.
