At home, sitting on a load while I take care of some paperwork/money issues and contemplate my future moves since I missed my Dr. Appt with a BS run that was not possible to run legal and still get in on time. Really angry right now.

well dispatch called me and found me a load going back to shop only problem was i had to deadhead 140 miles south to get it verses 150 miles east and be at the shop but what ever it's a mercer load steel going to rockland maine from nashua nh took them 4 hrs to load it 2 trucks ahead of me in line had to tarp the jagged angle iron used up all my carpet and everything i could find as an edge protector

found out the locks to my chains were froze up from ice and salt from lack of use in the last month no big used straps they open the door to let me out of the building and of course snowing like a ####### whatever i leave and of course road is sheet of ice thanx NHdot

get to rockland an hour late of my appointment guy was cool take 2 hrs to unload (a mixed load) so it took some time to sort everthing out couldent fold tarp in the building so tarped out side in the snow in 15 degree temps on the water as a storm was coming in (can you say i had a blast!!!)

then on the way back to the shop (10 miles) i stop at a light it turns green i start to move nice and easy i hear CLUNK! im like WTF i let off the pedal and hear a quieter clunk give it a lil pedal and clunk so i pull over cant find anything wrong feels like its in the driveline somewhere i got a sneaking suspicion that its my transmission just rolled 1 mil last week and everything but the tranny and rear ends are done but i could be wrong just the symptoms all together seem like that could be the culprit

so here it is 530am im back at the shop in one piece nursed the old girl home better to get her here then be on the side of back road in maine at night with the snow flying. im ready for bed i'll go home when i wake up
    night all

Still at Von Ormy....freight is dead around these here parts, well freight worth pulling anyways.
Just watched a ######### freight hauler (Stevens) have to get pulled out backwards, to get hooked to a wrecker, shutting the parking lot down for @1hr.
I always back in, in fear of flat batteries mainly, and not being able to be jumped off. But backing in is the way to go IMHO.
