Maybe because I don't have a family and need to maximize every penny, but I cannot see eating from my truck. My trainer had a fridge and micro, and some of the crap he made almost made me puke on a couple of occasions. The few times I did eat his food, it tasted like baby wipes 'cause that's how he cleaned his dishes.
I keep some cans and water in my truck for emergencies, but I need to get out of the truck after rolling 11 hours nonstop and often look forward to getting a
sit down meal at a TS.

    Voyager1968 Thanks this.

In my truck refer I have sirloin that my cooked up for me. She also made me pot roast stew and put it in tuperware. I have cooked chicken, rice, noodles, tuna, roast beef, tortillas, beans, salsa, multigrain chips, bread, bagels, cream cheese, snacks, fresh milk, OJ, coffee, a case of water, etc. I use my Loves fuel points for soda refills if I want. All my utensils and plates are disposable. Eating out at truckstops is very expensive.
