Shower credit fail

Happened again at loves yesterday, I Politely went to a cashier/clerk directly after fueling with the receipt in hand, she said she took care of it, now have three receipts for the transaction ... just in case, the previous fuel stop at loves logged points but no shower credit, the fuel stop before that at loves did the same, The first time gave no points or shower, the clerk gave out a shower that time.

Thinking like I'm owed that shower feels somewhat awkward especially when the clerk now expects you to pay/use points for that free one. btw, I don't get to pick where I fuel up, for now, the company tells me where.

 

Well, landed at a loves once again, shower credit / points still intact from last fuel up 6 days ago, (fueled else where since) When I went to check to on the shower credit the clerk offered to give a free one before I could finish my sentence. the receipt said I had one available, so off I went to get my bag, iwhile at my truck a driver asked for some assistance backing in the next space. once complete he asks I about a shower, and says would you telling them we team up so I can get one, he swears he hasnt had one in fours days. I thought yeah I guess ..but..

He grabs his badand heads for store, I was thinking to myself but we don't team. he's ahead of me and arrives at the counter before I do, now I'm involved in the story he told the clerk.. phew... showers aren't read yet she gives us a couple a numbers, the wait is on, this story is now buggin me a bit, his number is called first.I tell him go on.. I decide to tell the clerk the truth and pay for a shower but shes got long line by this time. finally my number is called, she asks me If I paid for the other drivers shower, I tell her the truth, grab my wallet, she says don't worry about it and hands me a key for a shower. I offer again, shes say no go ahead its alright.. nice and clean shower room too
