The problem I am having, is with the top number(systolic). I can take it and it will read 133/60. next time 148/60 the it will jump to 168/62. I have lost weight, taken all the supplements mentioned here. But it still runs erratic. My doc has even raised my BP meds

That's one problem with older people. Your blood vessels lose their elasticity and they don't stretch as much when the heart pumps resulting in a higher systolic. Hopefully your doc can get it under control. If you don't know the doc well don't hesitate to try another one or get a referral to a cardiologist and let him examine you.cuzzin it Thanks this.

i went through 3 differant meds before i got one that did the trick. The ACE inhibitors did ok but made my troat itch bad and after 3 months i switch to a generic Cozaar..... pricey stuff but works for me

Not if its through concentra. Concentra requires another full physical if the card was issued.
-
Your physical was issued for 3 months.
You will have to take another one. -
Yep, just talked to the nurse. Gotta take it all over, except for the drug test
-
OK, I was issued a 3 month card due to high bp, I went back 3 months later and all they did was check my bp and issue me a one year card. They did tell me they wouldn't issue me another 3 month card if the bp wasn't under control.
-
yup me to and I go to concentra too. they just re-checked the bp, it was good and then issued me a one year
-
I guess you were the lucky ones, I still gotta take it all over
