I would offer the following advice for deciding on a training company. Do lots of research and ask lots of questions!!! You will probably get many different opinions of most of the companies that would possibly hire you but remember it is you that will have to make the final decision. Take your time and do the necessary homework before jumping in and it can work out for you.

    Merry Christmas to All !!!

    silly ### monkey! LOL
i went with USA Truck and am happy thusfar. it can all depend on the trainer and then the dispatcher you get. even the BEST company out there can be a nightmare if those 2 people spoil your experience.

jtaran check out millis transfer. They have been straight up with me from the start. Im going to school with them in feburary Low cost ($2500) paid in the form of 500 down 100 to reserve your spot in class 400 due the first day. you pay off the balance at $20 bucks a weeks for 100 weeks interest free. As long as you stay with them a year no penalty if you leave or get fired before your 1st year is up theres a 2500 penalty. You pick which location you want to train at. Not like the mega carriers that send you to where they want you to go. Small class sizes with no more than 6 people per class. Classes start on mondays and you ned your cdl permit or license from your home state with air brake and combination endorsements in order to attend class. Good training pay scale after school and your choice of HHG miles or practical miles pay with a per diem and a non perdiem option too.
I could go on and on but i'll let you read off their site for yourself.

You can read more at millistansfer.com or mtidrivingacademy.com
Check it out you will be glad you did. Its one of the better training companies out there. Im excited to go in feburary Im counting the days as I have everything ready to go permit and all

None of these companies are going to get a new driver home every other day.

Are you trying to say a new driver is suppose to be home every other day.
I thought the industry standard was they never get home.
